Blue Chanty Water on my Mind

before and boring

nice texture though

homemade chalk paint

two colours of blue and teal

love the texture as it dries, thick

oh no! my good Pyrex measuring cup! lol

love the two different shades, I used a very small brush this time, I really had to "make" something, to craft, you know, so I took my time and so enjoyed the afternoon in the sun!

almost done, I just had to see how it looked hung up!

I think I like it!

oh enough staring, lets get this thing done! Hut hut hut!

used Ace paint and a tester paint of a pretty sky blue colour

ta da! :) I am SO happy with it!

this is where I will be sittin this week with

A cool iced tea in my tall Ball canning jar!

Happy Monday everyone!

  4. Good Afternoon Kat, You have created the most fabulous chandelier. I know the bones were there, but with the change of colour it has taken it up a notch and it now looks wonderful and certainly a chandelier that I would love to see hanging in my kitchen.
Kat I found you via Ivy and Elephants and I have so enjoyed my visit that I have become a new follower. I am now going to catch up on your other posts as the over sized burlap ottoman has caught my eye.

  5. Hello Kat, This is my first time visiting your blog and I soooo enjoyed it! Your style and creativity is lovely. The Chande is to die for beautiful and I must say the colour caught my eye! I am in the process of looking for a colour for my vintage canned ham (just got it yesterday) I'm wanting some pink, Hubby wants the blue-greens. I do adore this colour.....Is the colour in the Ace can "secret garden"? There is an Ace up the road from me and also did the tester sky blue come from Ace? Of course, I can't use a chalk paint on the camper but I can go from there. Thank you for any info......please visit my blog or e-mail me. Blessings~~~Roxie
