inspiration reading research books

Hi, hope everyone is well! I cannot believe it is almost the end of January already! Where has the time gone? I have been looking around, getting inspired to change things up a bit. Have you ever noticed that when you take pictures and look at them through the eyes of the camera, things look very different? Well.......

It seems that in every empty space I shove a book or magazine, every space. I am so inspired by books of all kinds, vintage, cooking, textbooks, health books and more, honestly, it is a sickness!

I so enjoy a book or two with a cup of tea in the afternoons in the Winter. In the Summer, they go outside with me! This is the rather large stack (or six)  next to my bed, and yep I can hardly get in it at night due to these stacks, anyone else have this problem? Or blessing? Either way, it needs to be cleaned up and soon  :)

who is the lucky gal who has a personal Library?

I am editing my Library at present, a deep edit! I am happy with my decision. I don't eat the way I used to, so most of my vintage cookbooks are up for sale over at eBay. I love passing along a great book or six! I also have found that I have duplicates! Who knew!

See what I mean, under the farmhouse antique table! Good grief! :)

Gardening books, but oh, now I need them for research again! I got a lovely call in December that I finally got my little garden spot up at our Community Gardens! I am so excited I can hardly stand it! It has been so cold that I haven't been able to dig or turn the earth, but, I have been visiting and looking and running back to the warm car, hahaha. As soon as it gets a little warmer, I will be up there planting, digging, taking lots of pictures to share with you! Anyone else have a city garden plot? Ours is stunning, I have done previous posts on our gardens, they are just beautiful! Have any ideas you wish to pass along? I am dying to get my hands dirty!

If you ever have a chance to get a lampshade with gold inside, do it! The glow it gives off is gorgeous, soft and oh so wonderful!

Old vintage Lawyers cabinet, book shelves with glass covers! One of the few pieces I have not painted and won't! It is just too old and neat looking!

I call him my Raven but think he may be an old crow!

Roadrunner..................the coyote's after you!

Apparently I've got this thing for chandeliers!

 And vintage silver!

Not to mention old and wonderful soft embroidery and linens!

Well, that is what I was pondering today! Took my pictures and I think my work is cut out for me yet again! I hope you have a great weekend!

have fun! Kat
