Fornasetti's primary output consists of strong graphics resulting in an interplay between reality and illusion. trompe l'oeil and classical imagery also have an interplay. "
I watched a program once a long time ago where they were making a tabletop out of the famous face plate, they split an enlarged copy in four equal parts and painted it onto the table. It was beautiful!
