Piano, Before and Afters!, a visit to my Hometalk.com Board

hometalk.com

Hi everyone! A while back I refurbished a lovely old antique vintage piano that came from England.  I called it my Labour of Love!

I actually painted it. White. It really took me quite a while to make that decision due to the patina and beauty of this particular piece. But I did, it took weeks, but so worth it.

If I ever take on another endeavour like this I think the colour of choice will be teal!  You will see why when you visit my Board on Hometalk!

While there are many sites I follow, I yet again got on the creative train all night long and into the wee hours of the morn, and thought I would share some of these beauties with you. I can spend hours on Hometalk! Literally!

A lot of the bloggers I follow are there, along with pros, designers, you name it.  All I can say is what a wealth of information, fun, brain-storming and completed projects with tutorials from start to finish.

One of the lovely aspects of Hometalk is the ability to "ask a question." Help is on the way! I see tons of comments offering up assistance and ideas. It is so great!

So, without further adieu,  here are some pins on my Board, Piano Before and Afters.

A gathering of some unique and interesting takes on how to utilize a piano, piano parts, making something new out of the old and completely thinking outside the box.

I think you will be amazed at the beauty of these completed projects.  They are truly works of art.

So grab that cup of tea or java, and join me, won't you? I hope you check out my other
Boards and sign up! It's great fun!

I'd love to hear your thoughts?  Enjoy,  kat =^.^=

happy gorgeous Sunday!

Good morning! Yes I know its late, but I stay up and crochet very very late! lol

I will be spending quality time in my girl cave today! (when I finally "step away" from this computer!) lol

Hopefully more organizing but really, I just love to stand in there and look at all the progress Ive made regarding me finding my stuff! I'm loving it!

It has finally cooled off enough for me to handle being outside! Cooler weather is very welcomed at this point! The older I get the less I can handle that triple digit temps !

Ok, help and let me know if you have the same issues! ?

When one has many options, it is very hard to make a decision! Know what I mean? Well I apparently have not one but three coffee tables! (Note: selling off my inventory from my booths and consignment pieces I finished :)

Who needs three! But, lol, I have options, many options!

While I like this shabby storage coffee table, it is for sale now :), due to the size of my living room I think I need a longer lower sleeker glass one to make the room seem a little larger!

I will miss you storage chest!

A couple of days ago I started painting the older sturdy plastic pots I brought with me from my other home! Spending some quality time outside!!!

I love the shabby look, its just paint! but all are the same now.  I may let them go too, (for cheap! ) not sure, have a few more projects to get done today, so I will be in the great outdoors yet again! wo hoo!

Here's hoping you have a wonderful, peaceful, nice day! Spend some of it outside enjoying Mother Nature! :)

yard work

Well I must be a glutton for punishment! I decided a couple of weeks ago to start a new planter in the front yard. I like how it turned out, but man getting that crab grass out of this dirt took me days and I had to dig about a foot down!

I am planting little by little seeing how everything handles the wind! What the heck did I do! lol

Some people never learn!

I've also been painting pots! They were old and crusty and that hard molded plastic, so they are sturdy still but needed a little freshening up!

I think I might have to replant some from some of the older pots and then call it a day! lol

my smiling amigo!

Hi and happy Saturday! It is Art in the Park up here in my quaint little town this weekend! They expect 100,000 or more people to visit here and I will be home with this little guy and enjoying this little face!

Have a great weekend! It is 72 deg a little wind, perfect Fall day! hugs kat =^.^=
