Hi Sunshines! Well, it is time to introduce you to "John!"
If you remember, he was standing next to Marsha, all not dressed up just yet! And what a pair they made! No one cared about them, it was obvious! come to Mama!
Well, he is finally finished, I love him now! He is smooth, soft, with a lovely velvety touch and a creamy beige yellow now.
He used to be a cherry wood I think, very heavy, with sides that make him a big shot in the living room! Here are some pics while I was working on him. Paint, sanded, more paint, more sanding, that's OK, I love the process, then waxed to a lovely shine with a nice durable sealed look.
This is one of those pieces, that would be totally kid friendly and shouts put your feet up "HERE!" :)
Marsha was standing there, watching me finish her buddy! :) It was "his" turn to be poolside! LOL
