Cristina's Treasures - Little Shop in my Town

Good morning everybody! Happy Friday! What are you doing this weekend? I am hoping to "play in the dirt!" do some planting and organizing my garage, dare I say COVER ME, I'M GOIN IN! LOL

It is a darling little three-story boutique full of eye candy, purses, clothing, jewelry, vintage things and chandeliers, did I say jewelry!

I purchased some really neat door knobs there for a project I was completing, since I don't like anything that matches much I wanted to use a different knob for each "area", and found all of them here! Some are Vintage and I love how my project turned out! Project pictures soon!

Weeks End - Pre Mothers Day Wishes

The Power of Words

Actions speak louder than words. Everyone, I thought this You Tube video was worth sharing. It made me cry. It made my Sis cry too. She is the one that sent it to me. I love it. I hope you love it too and will think about the profound meaning. I have watched it many times.

A harsh word can shatter a little heart in a nano second. Words can break a heart, WE must always think before we speak, remember my favorite saying....Wisdom has two parts, 1) having a lot to say, and 2) not saying it. This is true with everything we say really and in every aspect of our life and the loved ones around us. It pertains to our friends, co-workers and just everyone.

My Nana, our grandmother, always told all of us, if you "can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all." She was a wise woman in more ways than one.

The Busy Bee!

Well WHAT a weekend! It was a BLAST from the past with the Spring Jam in BC! This was my first Spring Jam! Spent part of both days at Goat Feathers, met a ton of nice folks, then wandered around with the vendors too, lots of fun, and the people were very friendly! The park was full of vintage cars and tents, it was windy, very windy, but we all had a good time!

The Iris's are mostly gone now from my garden containers, but here comes the purple Clematis! WOW It apparently loves where it sits now! I am SO happy! I sure hope you had a great weekend like I did! Have a wonderful week! Hugs, Kat =^.^=
